About us
Our Story
The Orange Picture Club began back in college, when the original four were all studying Media Production — Dan was in Jaspal’s class, while Jasbir was with Mac — and every Friday the whole year would come together to watch an eclectic mix of films chosen by their teacher.
Little did they know years later, this would spark the idea for The Orange Picture Club: a space to share that same passion for film with our wider community.
The group later met Keli Watson, through Twoside Studios. A Senior Lecturer in Film Production at the University of Bedfordshire, Keli has brought invaluable expertise and creativity to The Orange Picture Club.
Our Orange
Our mascot is the bright orange that gives the club its name — a playful symbol of creativity, community, and a love for film.
Just like every film has its own flavour, our orange reminds us to keep things fresh, fun, and full of zest.
